Name:
Occupation:
Writer, Director, Director of Photography, & Editor
Bit of bio:
I’m a Los Angeles based Writer & Director of Narrative Film & Television as well as Director of Photography and Editor. I’ve been making films since I was eleven years old and first got my hands on a camera, and my love and appreciation for the medium hasn’t diminished since.
I have five feature films under my belt as Director, including the recently released Supernatural Western Blood In Them Hills, with many more always on the way, either currently embedded in my script writing software, or my editing bay, a day doesn’t pass where my hands aren’t busy in the pursuit of creating and releasing new stories on camera. I couldn’t be more thankful for a life where I get to do this.
How do you define a guru?
To me it’s a matter of influence, someone you can turn to for guidance, healing, or even just and example to watch for, all to help influence your own path forward.
What does a normal workday look like for you, starting from the moment you wake up?
First I take care of my household, so that means feeding cats and watering plants, then it’s coffee and breakfast while I process the day ahead. Writing a physical list is a huge part of me completing my work for the day. If I’m going to set, i’m usually out the door fast, because I love to get to set an hour before anyone else and prep for the day in my head.
Once we start shooting, it’s all a machine of efficiency until wrap. If I’m editing that day, it’s sitting in front of that computer and only getting up when the task at hand is complete or I need to bribe myself to keep working with another snack.
What time do you wake up?
It varies but rarely any later than 8am.
What do you have for breakfast?
One of my favorite quick breakfasts is a full avocado, a banana, and a cup of coffee. Otherwise its gotta be eggs, potatoes, and tortillas.
Do you work out?
Absolutely. It keeps me sane.
Do you have a special routine to get you in the zone? Meditation type, maybe?
The writing of the list to start my day is a pretty huge routine for me.
What time do you get to work?

What do you have for Lunch? Do you even eat lunch?
Usually something I’ve cooked, either a rice + Veggie bowl or a sautéed fish fillet
Are working lunches something that works for you?
Yes, I don’t like to pause midday if I don’t have to. Unless I’m working on set and surrounded by friends, then taking lunch with them is a joy.
How much time do you take for yourself during lunch?
Not much if I’m working alone, but on set it’s a minimum of thirty minutes.
How much work are you hoping to achieve in your working hours?
Just as much as we’ve set out to complete that day. I have to be very conscious of not overworking myself.
Do you take a break in between?
In between tasks absolutely. Sometimes I go on a run.

What does settling in look like for you?
Usually tea, a final meal, and turning on the TV to watch an episode or two of something.
Do you turn off your phone when you’re getting emails from work?
Unfortunately no, but I love staying connected socially to all of my friends, so the notifications can be a blessing and a curse.
What does a normal wind-down look like for you?
Showers, moisturizers, maybe a last little workout, and playing with the cats before bed.
