The most impactful leaders are often the ones who understand the power of storytelling.
For filmmaker Adam R. Wood, storytelling is more than a profession—it’s a responsibility.
His latest documentary, Hold On To Your Music, tells the extraordinary story of Holocaust survivor Lisa Jura through the lens of her daughter, renowned pianist Mona Golabek. Yet for Wood, the project became a larger lesson about leadership, legacy, and the importance of preserving human experiences before they disappear.

“I hope audiences come away understanding that memory is not passive,” Wood says. “It has to be carried, protected, and renewed.”
That philosophy guided every decision he made while developing the documentary.
