Being a personal trainer for the Hollywood elite often means that the results of your work show up on the silver screen or the red carpet. However, for celebrity trainer Jason Walsh, it’s empowering everyday people to safely move their bodies like athletes that is the most satisfying part of his job.
Walsh has helped stars like Matt Damon and Pedro Pascal achieve ultimate performance for their Hollywood roles. Now, he is bringing the same training programs he has used to train Hollywood stars to the real world through Rise Movement.

Leaving influencer training behind
Today’s social media platforms, such as Instagram and TikTok, are rife with influencers who spread messages of fast fixes and workout programs that are ultimately ineffective or, worse, unsafe. Many of the “hacks” and “tips” that these influencers promote on their pages are not backed by science or grounded in experience or education.
Walsh saw these pitfalls and knew he had to apply his years of experience and knowledge of athlete-level training to a new approach that would cut through the noise. “My specialty was always fixing people,” he says.
Knowing well that injuries often occur when people follow the training advice of unqualified “coaches” or other individuals, Walsh set out to create an approach that emphasized proper form and muscle activation, promoted total-body strength, and adapted athlete-level techniques for all experience levels.
Science-backed strength and community building
Unlike the fleeting workout fads that people found online, Rise Movement is completely deliberate in its approach and delivery. Every training regimen is rooted in sports science, and Walsh has applied everything he has learned from years of training Hollywood stars to peak performance.
“It’s not just about sweat and soreness after a workout,” says Walsh.

Walsh wanted to focus on teaching people to train smarter, not harder, thereby making workouts more effective and safer. However, one aspect of influencer-driven training that Walsh did find useful was the community aspect that drove many people to stick with influencer workouts. He knew that if he kept the community aspect with his workout approach, he could build something life-changing for everyday people.
Through transparency in programming, community building, education-driven exercise, and accountability, Walsh has created something truly disruptive with Rise Movement.
Fueling like an athlete
As a companion to Rise Movement’s athlete-level workout platform, Walsh has recently co-founded a protein offering called RISE311. Recognizing that training is just one part of overall health, RISE311 is a plant-based, craft protein that helps people support their workouts, boost endurance, and aid their post-workout recovery.
RISE311 has been developed using easy-to-digest plant-based protein. The formula not only prioritizes nutrition but also takes protein one step further by prioritizing taste. Rather than just supporting muscle gain, RISE 311 supports functional training, fueling the body in a similar way to how Walsh helps his Hollywood and athlete clients fuel their bodies during training.
“We’ve created a new gold standard in protein,” says Walsh. The formula has been tried and tested by experts and refined to meet the specific needs of a diverse range of users. The complete protein built into RISE311 earns a perfect 1.0 Protein Digestibility Corrected Amino Acid Score (PDCAAS) for its digestibility and nutritional value. It contains the ideal amount of leucine, considered the most critical amino acid.
