The new show, a spinoff of “Untraditionally Lala,” brings together former adversaries Lala Kent and Ambyr Childers as bonded single mothers navigating life, healing, and reinvention.

Hosted by reality TV star and entrepreneur Lala Kent alongside actress and producer Ambyr Childers—known for her roles in You and Ray Donovan—the series expands on the success of Kent’s hit podcast Untraditionally Lala. Childers previously appeared on the show earlier this year, sparking listener interest that ultimately led to the creation of this new collaboration.

“An Unlikely Affair” explores the raw, unfiltered realities of single motherhood through the lens of two women whose past once placed them on opposite sides. After sharing the same ex, Kent and Childers were once sworn enemies—until they chose to release old resentment and form an unexpected, deeply honest friendship. Each week, they will unpack major life transitions, address mom guilt, rediscover identity beyond motherhood, and candidly discuss dating, sex, and personal growth in their next chapter.

Through their conversations, Kent and Childers share how they reclaimed happiness and emotional clarity, with the intention of encouraging listeners to break free from toxic cycles and rewrite their own stories.

Kent will continue hosting Untraditionally Lala, with new episodes released every Wednesday and bonus content dropping on Mondays.
