It’s not every day that a retail space makes you feel like you’ve stepped into a dream—part atelier, part apothecary, and entirely unlike anything else in Times Square. But Charlie Fox, New York’s newest luxury cannabis destination, has done just that. With its doors officially opened on December 12, 2024, this 10,000-square-foot flagship sets a new standard—not only as the largest cannabis retail space on the East Coast but as a lifestyle experience born from ideation, artistry, and hospitality.

Charlie Fox Interior
For the discerning guest, Charlie Fox is not a store—it’s a sanctuary. Every detail, from scent to seating, speaks to the art of curation. You don’t just shop here, you are welcomed, styled, and guided, as if entering a private club designed by the likes of Hermès or The Connaught.
“Cannabis deserves its place among life’s finest rituals,” says co-founder James Mallios, whose hospitality background informs every inch of the experience. “We drew inspiration from restaurants, hotels, and the art of service—places where people feel seen and indulged.”
Designed by the award-winning firm Home Studios, the flagship is a visual and sensory escape. The ground floor beckons with an old-world apothecary aesthetic. Which is ideal for those who want efficiency with elegance. But ascend to the second floor, and the pace slows. This is where the Charlie Fox salon awaits. An intimate, light-dappled setting with custom banquette seating and a discreet cannabis bar. Here, sommeliers, in custom New York–made vests by Kimberly Taylor, offer tailored consultations, ensuring each guest’s experience is as personal as it is elevated.

Second Floor Atelier
“Charlie Fox is an invitation into another world,” explains creative director and partner Julia Levi. “We drew from the lineage of London’s classic refinement and paired it with New York’s dynamic pulse. We wanted to create something immersive—where every visit feels like a discovery.”
And discovery is at the heart of the Charlie Fox product line. With an emphasis on low-dose, high-quality cannabis sourced from New York farms, their collection is divided into four distinct moods: Relax, Sleep, Social, and Create. From premium flowers to sleek pre-rolls, refined vapes, drinks, and decadent gummies, the offerings are designed to help guests calibrate their experience. Whether that is to unwind after a gallery opening or finding clarity on a rainy Sunday.
But Charlie Fox doesn’t stop at cannabis. It expands into a lifestyle, offering seasonal apparel, accessories, and home goods that all echo the brand’s ethos of quiet luxury and considered design.

Charlie Fox Concierge
Come Spring 2025, the third floor (known as The Den) will debut as a multifunctional space for immersive events, exclusive gatherings, and brand experiences. And for those who prefer their indulgence, personalized, 30-minute one-on-one sessions with a Charlie Fox sommelier can be booked through SevenRooms. With future locations already on the horizon in NYC and the Hamptons, Charlie Fox isn’t just riding the wave of cannabis culture, it’s reshaping it.

Charlie Fox Entrance
This Sunday, 4/20, the iconic Zig-Zag brand is celebrating the canna-friendly holiday with a bold tribute, and ultimate takeover of the world’s most famous intersection in the heart of NYC: One Times Square. As the presenting sponsor of Cannabis Now’s official 4/20 countdown celebration, Zig-Zag will be supported by Charlie Fox to host an epic clock-ticking to 4:20pm beginning at 3:00pm, which will unite fans, creators, and the canna-curious for a one-of-a-kind salute. To honor its roots and future, Zig-Zag’s unmistakable orange branding will light up NYC with billboards, street teams, and the official 4:20 countdown.
In a sea of sameness, Charlie Fox is proof that cannabis can be couture and that luxury, when done right, always leaves a lasting impression. For those ready to experience cannabis the way they experience art, fashion, or fine wine, this is your invitation https://shopcharliefox.com.
