New York, NY – November 5, 2025 — The Keepers of the Quaich USA Chapter gathered at the Metropolitan Club in New York City for its annual Fall Banquet, celebrating the craftsmanship, heritage, and evolving artistry of Scotch whisky. The black-tie event brought together leading distillers, brand custodians, and industry supporters to honor excellence and camaraderie across the whisky world.
The evening’s distinguished guest of honor, His Grace, The Duke of Argyll, Patron of the Keepers of the Quaich, delivered keynote remarks underscoring Scotland’s proud whisky legacy and its vital relationship with the United States.

“Scotch whisky embodies more than craftsmanship—it represents our shared heritage and the relationships that link Scotland to the wider world,” said His Grace, The Duke of Argyll. “The United States continues to be one of Scotch whisky’s most vital and dynamic markets, helping sustain tradition while inspiring new generations of whisky lovers. I’m pleased to be here in the U.S. to celebrate this important industry and the passionate community that supports it.”
This year’s tasting experience showcased the diversity and creativity defining Scotch today, with standout releases including Johnnie Walker Blue Label, Macallan Sherry Oak 110 Proof, Glenfiddich Grand Château 31-Year-Old, Laphroaig 30-Year-Old, Lagavulin Grain & Embers Special Release 2025, Glenlivet 25-Year-Old, and Bruichladdich 18-Year-Old. Together, these remarkable expressions reflected the innovation and craftsmanship fueling Scotch whisky’s continued global growth.

Guests enjoyed a celebratory program of music, poetry, and fellowship, highlighted by a performance of “Burns Distilled” and the ceremonial Address to the Haggis.

The evening benefited the Entrepreneurial Scotland Foundation, a charity that specializes in creating scholarship opportunities in the U.S. for people currently studying in Scotland, many of whom are the first in their family to go to college.
