In the heart of Hollywood, the Godfrey Hotel’s signature restaurant, ALK (About Last Knife), buzzed with energy. The Los Angeles Inquisitor hosted a cover launch party honoring empowerment entrepreneur, Mara Dorne. The evening wasn’t just about her latest magazine cover. It was a vibrant fusion of LA’s culture, lifestyle, and community spirit—all for a good cause.
Mara, radiant as her cover took center stage at the event, was the star of the evening, which also doubled as a fundraiser benefitting Habitat for Humanity LA and supporting the Los Angeles Wildfire Relief Fund. Between snapping photos and sharing inspiring stories, attendees were treated to a night that perfectly embodied the city’s eclectic charm.

One of the evening’s highlights was Mara’s official announcement of her upcoming podcast, BILF: Boss I’d Like to Follow. The show promises candid conversations with trailblazing leaders and industry pioneers, offering listeners a blend of leadership insights, cultural commentary, and trend discussions—all with Mara’s signature style and energy.

The event drew an impressive guest list, including Real Housewives of Orange County’s Katie Ginella and her daughter Kaili Ginella, RuPaul’s Drag Race star Laganja Estranja (stunning in Akira’s trench coat gown), and Amazon Prime’s Gown and Out duo, Patrik Simpson and Pol’ Atteu, accompanied by their beloved pup, Snow White. Also in attendance were Major Crimes’ Kearran Giovanni, radio and TV personality Jessica Carlson, Forbes’ top mindset coach Natasha Graziano, renowned plastic surgeon Dr. Michael Newman, and Los Angeles Magazine CEO & Publisher Christopher Gialanella.

A standout moment came when Los Angeles Inquisitor’s CEO and Founder, Derek Warburton, delivered a heartfelt speech on the power of community, joined by cover star Mara Dorne and Michelle Toulmin from Habitat for Humanity LA. Their words resonated deeply with the audience, highlighting the evening’s dual mission of celebration and charitable giving.
