Momoya SoHo offers an exceptional culinary experience, blending the essence of traditional Japanese sushi with innovative touches that surprise and delight. Situated in the vibrant heart of SoHo, this two-level gem elevates the art of Nigiri cuisine while maintaining an inviting and elegant atmosphere, enhanced by the acclaimed designs of French architect Philippe Starck.

MOMOYA SOHO - OMAKASE - 14 piece Chef's sushi selection

OMAKASE

Part of a renowned Japanese-American institution, Momoya SoHo delivers on its promise of top-tier sushi through the expertise of its chefs. Whether it’s Tetsuya Okuda’s modern kaiseki, Subhash Gurung’s refined omakase, Norie Uematsu’s imaginative desserts, or Leo Lê’s thoughtfully curated beverage program, every aspect of the dining experience feels meticulously crafted. The menu is an expansive journey, offering everything from exquisite sushi lunches to premium cuts like the A5 miyazaki wagyu steak.

The warm and knowledgeable staff adds to the experience, guiding diners through selections, from sake pairings to nuanced menu choices. Our server, Yisi, enhanced the meal with thoughtful recommendations that enriched the overall dining experience, such as suggesting the Koshi No Kanbai Junmai Ginjo sake ($35)  – served warm, paired perfectly with our meal.

Every dish is a visual masterpiece, offering vibrant presentations that match the bold, sophisticated flavors. The sushi lunch ($31) and A5 wagyu steak ($65) stand out, both for their artful presentation and their exquisite taste. While prices average around $60 per person, the experience at Momoya SoHo is well worth the investment for a truly unforgettable meal.
