When the city heat becomes too much to bear, New Yorkers flock east—and for good reason. Summer in the Hamptons has long been a coveted tradition, and for 2025, the season is shaping up to be its most vibrant yet. At the heart of it all lies the charming and ever-elegant Southampton Inn, a staple of the village that embodies the best of Hamptons hospitality.

Nestled in the center of historic Southampton Village, the 90-room inn is a sanctuary of style and comfort. This year, the beloved getaway unveils refreshed interiors – new custom furniture, upgraded lighting, plush carpeting, and design elements that reflect the breezy coastal soul of the East End. Whether you’re a returning guest or arriving for the first time, the luxe Matouk linens and Tempur-Pedic beds ensure every stay feels like home but only better.
Fortunately, the magic doesn’t stop indoors. The Inn’s expansive grounds invite you to explore lush gardens, unwind by the 50-foot heated pool, or challenge your friends to a match on the all-weather tennis and pickle ball courts. Those with a competitive edge can take to the volleyball net or play a casual round of croquet under the sun. When it’s time to refuel, Claude’s Restaurant (a local favorite) serves fresh seasonal fare in a relaxed setting, making it the perfect pause between sun and sea. And speaking of the sea: a complimentary summer shuttle whisks guests straight to Coopers Beach, one of the most pristine stretches of sand on the East Coast. With beach chairs and umbrellas provided, all you need to pack is your favorite summer read.

Back in the village, Southampton comes alive with cultural happenings, art shows, designer pop-ups, and farmer’s markets. Just steps from the Inn, you’ll find upscale shopping, galleries, and historic sites that give the Hamptons its unique rhythm—one that blends laid-back luxury with timeless sophistication.
This summer, the Southampton Inn isn’t just a place to stay—it’s where your Hamptons story begins. From curated comforts to curated experiences, the 2025 season promises memories that last long after Labor Day. Explore our full list below from places to dine, shop and events!
