Wildfires continue to devastate Southern California, leaving communities shattered and lives forever changed. As of January 13, 2025, the combined impact of the Palisades, Eaton, and Hurst fires has reached staggering proportions:
-
Over 38,629 acres burned
-
More than 5,000 homes destroyed
-
At least 25 lives lost
The fires in Pacific Palisades alone have consumed over 23,000 acres, while the Eaton Fire has scorched 14,000 acres, leaving parts of Pasadena in ruins. Thousands remain displaced as dry winds drive the flames, testing the strength and resilience of the region.
Despite the destruction, the spirit of community shines brighter than ever. Residents, organizations, and public figures are stepping up to provide relief and support to those affected.
