At her fifth annual celebration, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star brought together fashion, entertainment, and the women pushing circular fashion forward.
New York has never needed another reason to talk about fashion. But Sutton Stracke gave it one.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star and fashion entrepreneur brought her 5th Annual Women Pioneers of Circular Fashion 2026/27 celebration to the Martha Graham Center for Contemporary Dance in New York City, turning the evening into more than another fashionable stop on the calendar. GURUS Magazine proudly served as a media partner for the event, joining Stracke in spotlighting a conversation that is becoming increasingly difficult for the fashion world to ignore: what happens to our clothes after we are finished wearing them?

Because for an industry built around what comes next, fashion is being forced to think much harder about what gets left behind.
And Stracke, whose personal style has long embraced the collectible, the extravagant, and the beautifully made, is an interesting person to push that conversation forward.
Through SUTTON Brands and SUTTON Green Label, she is making the argument that circular fashion does not have to exist outside the world of luxury. A beautiful piece can be worn again, resold, rented, passed on, or reinvented. In fact, there is something inherently luxurious about owning something worth keeping.
That idea was at the heart of the September 10 celebration.

This year, Stracke honored three women approaching circularity from very different corners of the industry: Susan Rockefeller, entrepreneur, conservationist, and founder of Musings Magazine; Julia O’Mara, Co-Founder and COO of fashion rental marketplace Pickle; and Kristy Caylor, Founder and CEO of Trashie.

Their work matters because circular fashion is no longer a niche conversation reserved for environmental panels and sustainability reports. It is becoming part of a much bigger question about how we consume fashion in the first place.

For years, the industry trained consumers to chase the new. New season. New collection. New trend. New purchase. Circular fashion challenges that cycle without asking people to stop loving clothes. Instead, it asks whether fashion can have a longer life—and whether what already exists can still have value.
That is a conversation GURUS believes deserves a bigger audience.

And on this particular night, it came with plenty of star power.
Stracke was joined by fellow RHOBH stars Erika Jayne and Tracy Tutor, alongside TV personality Hilaria Baldwin, designer Brian Atwood, GURUS Fashion Director Nolé Marin, The Real Housewives of London star Juliet Mayhew, and model Lance Stefanakis. Also joining the celebration were KJ Dillard, model Victoria Pousada K., and influencers Kay Dudley and Tay Dudley.

The invite-only evening unfolded at the Martha Graham Center for Contemporary Dance high above Broadway, where fashion, television, culture and sustainability shared the room. A live performance from the Martha Graham Center brought another dimension to the evening, while guests enjoyed wine from S&M Wine Co., liquor from J.T. Meleck Distillery, and food by Bluestone Lane. A floral cart by Petal & Paper NY added another beautiful touch to the celebration.
The celebration also served as a first look at the Sutton Circular Fashion House pop-up, which opened to the public the following day at the same location.
And the conversation will not remain inside that room.

The event was filmed for Season 16 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills on Bravo, potentially bringing circular fashion into living rooms far beyond New York and the traditional fashion crowd. That may prove to be one of the evening’s most significant takeaways.
Sustainability has spent years trying to move from industry conversation to mainstream culture. Reality television has a reach fashion panels simply do not. Put Sutton Stracke, Erika Jayne, Tracy Tutor, and a room full of cameras around circular fashion, and suddenly millions of people who may never attend a sustainability summit could find themselves talking about it.
