Following the success of the 2026 Gurus Beauty Awards, the Gurus community reunited in Los Angeles for the Gurus Beauty Soirée, an intimate evening celebrating the people, partnerships, and shared purpose behind this year’s awards.

Hosted by television personalities Mary Bonnet and Sandra Vergara, the soirée brought together founders, creators, media personalities, and industry leaders to reconnect, celebrate this year’s honorees, and continue building the relationships that define the Gurus community.
The evening opened with an introduction from Vincent De Paul, a two-time Emmy Award winner and member of both the Producers Guild of America and the Television Academy of Arts & Sciences, who welcomed Derek Warburton, Founder, Publisher, and Editor-in-Chief of Gurus Magazine. Warburton shared the vision behind the Gurus Beauty Awards, emphasizing a community where creativity, innovation, and authentic connections thrive.

Hosted by Megan Hoelle at Bloom Boom Boutique Florist, the venue was transformed into an elegant California garden celebration. Lush floral installations in shades of blush, lavender, ivory, coral, and soft blue surrounded guests throughout the evening, while a breathtaking living flower wall and vintage velvet settee created one of the soirée’s signature gathering places. Live piano music by Jayden Ostler provided an elegant soundtrack throughout the celebration, adding to the warm and welcoming atmosphere. As a special touch, hosts Mary Bonnet and Sandra Vergara were each presented with Bloom Boom Boutique Florist’s signature handcrafted floral purses, adding another memorable moment to an evening already filled with thoughtful details. Guests were also invited to take home beautifully wrapped floral bouquets featuring specially selected portraits celebrating members of the Gurus community, extending the beauty and spirit of the evening long after the celebration came to a close.
Throughout the soirée, guests enjoyed handcrafted cocktails from Broken Shed Vodka, refreshing beverages from Vital Proteins, a beautifully curated signature grazing experience by Bloom Boards, and floral-inspired desserts from Sweet Lady Jane. Personalized fresh coconuts from Runyon Canyon Cart added a playful Southern California touch, while thoughtfully curated beauty experiences and immersive brand activations showcased several of this year’s celebrated beauty and wellness innovators.

Guests also had the opportunity to browse the latest print edition of Gurus Beauty, featuring wellness expert and 2026 Gurus Beauty Awards New York co-host Hilaria Baldwin on the cover. Thoughtfully curated gift bags included products from Nütrops, Beekeeper’s Naturals, Cotrini, VSOTO Skin, British M, and SipFace, allowing guests to experience many of the innovative brands that continue to elevate the beauty and wellness industry.

As part of the evening’s program, three outstanding brands were recognized for their innovation and contributions to beauty and wellness.
Claudia Charriez, star of The Trouble with Billy, presented the Best in Design award to SipFace for The Original Wrinkle Free Straw, with Amanda Kesy, Founder, accepting on behalf of the brand.
Jai Rodriguez, actor, singer, and the original “Culture Vulture” of Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, presented the Best in Day Spa award to Ole Henriksen Spa: Luxury Day Spa Hollywood, LA, with Vance Soto, President and Owner, accepting on behalf of the spa.
