“Things do not happen to you; they happen for you. Wipe those prickly tears, because you are a beautiful soul, and know that your thoughts are the ultimate energy input, shaping your reality. Shift your mindset to shift gears within your lives. To ‘heal’ is to master the self-love equation of the key ingredient you have so masterfully hidden within, recognizing that your very consciousness is the ultimate energetic conductor, capable of rewriting and rewiring your life’s code from the inside out, transforming challenges into triumphs and pain into profound wisdom.”

Birgitta Visser, founder of Power Soul Healing, is dedicated to the transformative practices of light language, vibrational healing, and other holistic modalities. These powerful practices serve as gateways to awakening, harnessing the divine energy and loving essence of angels, archangels, ascended masters, and radiant beings of light. Through these sacred connections, individuals can experience profound healing and spiritual growth, inviting a deeper sense of love and consciousness into their lives.
In this feature, Birgitta explores why energy work is resonating so deeply with public figures and everyday seekers alike. Read the full piece below for a powerful reflection on what it truly means to heal from within.
We know for a fact that we are living in transformational times. The world as we know it is gradually fading and has been shaken up, so that a new one may arise. Just like a toddler outgrows its clothes and keeps on developing, so does Mother Earth. She is transforming into a far more enlightened version of herself, a version characterized by clarity and authenticity, where the air is as fresh for our spirits as it is for the environment, and where our soul can breathe as much as Mother Earth can.
The journey of spiritual awakening is not about waiting for some grand external event to unfold or some cosmic sign; it’s about engaging in the process of transformation ourselves. You can wait all day for something magical to happen; in fact, until you’re green eggs and ham in the face like the Dr Seuss character, but in reality, nothing changes unless you take the initiative to shift your own perspective. When it comes to personal growth, the universe is more of a ‘here’s a shovel, get digging’ kind of operation. Life, in all its essence, is a continuous invitation to shed the old, much like a snake sheds its skin, to bravely unbecome the person we once were, creating a sacred space to rebirth like a phoenix from the ashes, to embrace the new.

It seems the grand old pursuit of external fulfilment, like that elusive butterfly always out of reach, often leaves us with a “void” within, even when we have “succeeded” by traditional measures. But really, is that what life is all about, the material? People have started to realize that life is not about winning some golden trophy, but a vibrant garden to be cultivated within. The beautiful inward journey means tending to the seeds of happiness, pulling out the weeds of pain, sorrow, and trauma, and transforming them into the fertile ground of genuine fulfillment. Because, let’s be real, Cinderella’s grandmother’s magic wand was a lovely tale, but this whole spiritual awakening gig is far less about a sparkly flick of the wrist and much more about a hands-on adventure; after all, ain’t no one is going to change your life but you.
This is exactly why spiritual mentorship is becoming so popular. These way-guides are like the GPS to our inner wilderness, helping us navigate our inner landscapes by offering tools and insight to create inner harmony and cultivate our own sunshine from the inside out. My own deep dive into the murky waters of self-healing wasn’t exactly smooth sailing; it is all about taking accountability for our lives and confronting our inner demons and having a sit down with them, which may not always be the most glamorous affair, but it’s this very struggle that frees us from the shackles of limited thinking and the layers of often societal conditioning that obscures the light of our inner brilliance we’ve always had.
When life throws us a cosmic curveball, it triggers that baggage of trauma that we’ve been carrying, buried somewhere deep in our memories on a soullular level, forcing us to react like a porcupine, bristling and defensive. But it is this very process of self-reflection and healing that helps us learn to embrace our vulnerabilities, accept ourselves for who we are, ultimately allowing us to shine brighter than before.

Yet, when we feel at a dis-ease within ourselves because let’s face it our ego that is sitting pretty in the driver’s seat running the show, being the ultimate drama queen, with our soul bound and gagged until our mind decides to shift its awareness and quit the victim mentality mode its been fed, it leaves our bodies feeling utterly bewildered and well ill — an imbalance of love and light in our energetic pantry. It is through these very awkward, humbling moments of self-reflection and the profound act of learning to love ourselves – embracing our vulnerabilities and accepting our whole selves – that we ultimately heal, allowing us to genuinely shine brighter than ever before. In truth, healing is just a fancy term for a cosmic glow-up.
The spiritual journey is all about connecting playfully with that sparkling wellspring of inner wisdom that we’ve always had. Unlike a regular therapist or coach, and please don’t knock ‘m because they are truly fab by the way, a spiritual coach is all about uncovering our soul’s deeper sense of purpose. And honestly, I am also still learning and figuring life out. I believe that purpose is not just one big scary thing; it’s found in our everyday moments. One pebble can cause a ripple effect for others. We inspire and we learn from one another, and we do things every day that are actually meaningful.
