The Trouble With Billy Star Claudia Charriez on Beauty, Confidence, and Embracing Every Chapter of Life

by | Jun 21, 2026

Actress, model, advocate, and television personality Claudia Charriez has never believed beauty should remain static.

Known for her work in entertainment, philanthropy, and most recently for her role in The Trouble With Billy, Charriez approaches beauty the same way she approaches life—with authenticity, confidence, and a willingness to evolve. For her, beauty isn’t about chasing perfection or keeping up with trends. It’s about embracing who you are in every season of life and finding alignment between your mind, body, and spirit.

Over the years, Charriez has learned that confidence comes from honoring what makes you unique. Whether she’s preparing for a red carpet appearance, stepping in front of the camera, or spending a quiet evening focused on self-care, she believes beauty is ultimately about becoming the best version of yourself.

For our Real Beauty issue, Charriez shares the beauty lessons she’s learned throughout the years, the wellness rituals that keep her grounded, the skincare products she swears by, and the daily practices that help her look and feel her best.

BEAUTY THROUGH THE YEARS

How would you describe your relationship with beauty today?

My relationship with beauty today is ever evolving. What I use in my 20s is very different from what I use in my 40s. Skin care, hair care, nail color… it all changes with how I’ve grown as a woman, and I’m definitely influenced by the seasons.

Has your definition of beauty changed throughout your life? If so, how?

I feel that embracing one’s own natural beauty is the key to highlighting oneself and one’s best features. I think we’re all uniquely beautiful. Skin tones, eyes, lips, cheekbones, hair, and personal style are what make us all stand out.

What does feeling beautiful mean to you personally?

Feeling beautiful means that I am the best version of myself for that day, that event, that moment where my mind, my body, and my spirit are all in alignment. That’s where I smile my brightest.

How has beauty played a role in your confidence and self-expression?

It’s like the old saying goes… when you look good, you feel good, and when you feel good, you look good. It’s as simple as that.

Do you follow a structured beauty routine, or is your approach more flexible?

Skin care, hair care, fitness, and spirituality. Whether it’s working out, doing yoga, meditating, or simply listening to my body. I wash my face every morning and evening with products like Shiseido. I use Dove body washes in the shower and moisturize with Nivea. I think anything L’Oreal makes is great. Oribe is also amazing.

What are the most important lessons you’ve learned about beauty and self-care over the years?

Probably the most important lesson that I’ve learned about beauty and self-care over the years is moisturize, moisturize, moisturize. I had an incredible teacher when I was in elementary school who always stressed the importance of moisturizing young, and I have followed that routine all my life.

What advice would you give to someone who is still learning to embrace their authentic self?

Embracing your authentic self can be challenging because we all have people we don’t want to disappoint while learning how to find balance in self-expression. But the most liberating thing I think a person can do for themselves is listen to their inner voice, follow their conscience and their heart, and remain true to themselves. Having conviction in your spiritual compass and following that voice will always lead you to a path of contentment and without regret.

SKINCARE FAVORITES

What skincare products can you not live without?

I’ve tried many of the great skincare brands, from Chanel to La Mer, but Shiseido has been my go-to since I was 14 years old. It has never let me down.

I’m a Future Solution LX kind of girl. Their face wash is incredibly gentle and removes even dramatic makeup with ease, while the eye cream is rich, moisturizing, and creates a beautiful base before applying concealer.

My absolute skincare secret weapon is Shiseido’s Future Solution LX Legendary Enmei Ultimate Renewing Cream. The name is long, but it lives up to it. With continued use, my skin looks brighter, smoother, and more radiant. I’ve even used it after CO2 fractional laser treatments and noticed significantly reduced downtime.

For me, it’s all about the glow, and this cream never disappoints. Thank you, Shiseido, for keeping this Goddess glowing and always camera-ready.

Are there any treatments, ingredients, or brands you consistently return to?

As I mentioned earlier, I’m a Shiseido girl through and through. Beyond skincare, I also rely on a few trusted treatments when I have a special event coming up.

When I’m in Orange County, I love working with the Rejuva Face and Body Sculpting team. Whether it’s Botox or other treatments, they always help me look and feel my best. I try to stay away from filler unless I truly need it, but I do love a vampire facial about two weeks before a major event.

When I’m in Los Angeles, Landon McCarroll, the Diem King, is my go-to expert. I do a CO2 fractional laser treatment about once every two years, and afterward, my skin looks like glass.

How do you keep your skin looking healthy, radiant, and camera-ready?

It starts with diet. I love vegetables, especially kale, cabbage, tomatoes, carrots, cucumbers, and other cruciferous vegetables. I also enjoy adding fruit like pears, peaches, or apples to my salads, and I drink alkaline water religiously.

My newest beauty secret, however, is the Lumara Red Light Therapy Mask. With 470 micro LED lights, it helps improve brightness, firmness, and overall skin appearance. Since incorporating it into my routine, I’ve noticed a significant improvement in my skin’s radiance and glow.

Do you have any favorite beauty secrets that have stood the test of time?

The brands I continue to return to are Shiseido, Chanel, NARS, Giorgio Armani, YSL, Pat McGrath, Anastasia Beverly Hills, and Charlotte Tilbury.

HAIR & BODY CARE

What are your go-to products for maintaining healthy hair?

I’ve been a loyal Kerastase and L’Oréal hair care user for years. As someone with fine hair who also happens to be blonde, maintaining healthy hair is incredibly important to me.

One of my favorites is Kerastase Chroma Absolu for color-treated hair. The shampoo helps strengthen and protect my hair while gently cleansing away buildup from workouts and everyday environmental stressors.

I also love the Chroma Absolu Hair Mask. It leaves my hair feeling strong, soft, vibrant, and healthy, plus it has the most beautiful gardenia scent.

For detangling, I use Bumble and Bumble Prep Detangling Spray. Then I apply Kerastase Elixir Ultime, which leaves my hair smooth, glossy, and incredibly shiny. Before heat styling, I finish with Resistance Ciment Thermique Heat Protecting Cream.

And of course, then it’s time for my Dyson Airwrap. 😘

Are there any body care products or rituals you swear by?

Absolutely. I am a bath girl.

Bath time is when I connect with my inner goddess and truly pamper myself. I turn on my star projector, light a candle, and listen to everything from Annie Lennox to opera.

I love Dr. Teal’s Eucalyptus Spearmint bath salts and Rosemary Mint Bubble Bath, and sometimes I add a little Jo Malone Orange Blossom Bath Oil for an extra indulgent touch.

It’s my time to decompress, manifest, and plan for what’s ahead.

Afterward, I moisturize with Nivea Cherry Blossom and Jojoba Oil Lotion, which keeps my skin soft, smooth, hydrated, and glowing.

How do you prepare for special events, appearances, or photo shoots?

Preparation starts well before the event. I stay consistent with my fitness routine and schedule any skincare treatments in advance.

My Lumara Red Light Therapy Mask is always nearby and plays a big role in helping my skin look its absolute best.

I’m also fortunate to have an incredible support system of designers who help make me red carpet ready. A special thank you to Resty Lagare, ShokraLA, Marco Marco, Sue Wong, Merlin Castell, and Sherri Hill for always helping me look and feel my best.

WELLNESS & DAILY RITUALS

What daily habits contribute most to how you look and feel?

Staying connected with my support system and close friends for encouragement, uplifting conversations, and that extra confidence boost is what helps me look and feel my best.

How important are sleep, hydration, nutrition, and movement in your overall beauty routine?

Sleep is so important. I like to get my nine hours, especially before a big event.

I only drink alkaline water. I take my vitamins, and sometimes a shot of B12 is great for me. Making sure I have good Vitamin D is also very important. 😘

PRODUCTS SHE LOVES

What beauty products are currently living in your makeup bag?

For foundation, I use Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Natural Glow Blurring Foundation with 24-hour wear.

My concealer is Christian Dior Forever Skin Correct Full Coverage Concealer.

I use a blending sponge and then move on to my eyes. I love the Fenty Killawatt Freestyle Highlighter as a base. I use Mean Money/Hu$tla Baby on my eyelids and Browbone as well.

I also love the Fenty eyeshadow palette. It has beautiful, warm, soft tones that work perfectly with my golden skin tone.

The YSL mascara is another one of my favorites.

For blush, I use NARS Orgasm, and of course, I finish everything off with a Christian Dior Lip Oil.

I like to keep things natural, glowing, and radiant.

Do you have a signature fragrance?

My signature fragrance varies from day to night.

For daytime, I love Chanel Coco Mademoiselle. Sometimes I’ll wear Carolina Herrera because it feels so classy and elegant.

At night, I like to be a little more seductive. I’ll switch to Christian Dior Hypnotic Poison or Thierry Mugler Alien.

What is one beauty product you always purchase?

The Anastasia Brow Pencil, of course.

Also, the Giorgio Armani Foundation, Christian Dior Concealer, and Christian Dior Lip Oil.

And of course, Shiseido and Kerastase.

Are there any beauty splurges that you believe are worth every penny?

Absolutely.

Shiseido for skincare.

Kerastase for hair.

Chanel Sublimage.

Giorgio Armani Foundation.

And YSL.

CAMERA-READY FAVORITES

What products instantly make you feel confident and ready to step in front of the camera?

Everything listed above.

I also love Make Up For Ever Blurring Foundation Powder. It gives a beautiful finish and helps me feel polished, confident, and camera-ready.

Do you have a favorite red carpet or event beauty memory?

My favorite red carpet memory has to be Life Ball 2016.

I had the privilege of working with Matinee USA as a dancer for the legendary Life Ball, which is one of the largest fundraisers supporting advancements in the fight against AIDS.

I had the incredible opportunity to walk the red carpet alongside A-list celebrities who came together to support my community and help advance awareness and research.

It was a truly unforgettable experience set against the backdrop of the beautiful palace in Vienna, Austria.
