Want to Optimize Stress and Find True Success? Dr Elizabeth Lombardo’s Latest Book Get Out of the Red Zone Shows You the Way

by | Oct 26, 2021

Dr E., everyone’s favorite psychologist, life coach and over-all inspirational wonder woman has a fascinating new book out. Get ready to get out of the Red Zone and into the Green Zone, with a new life changing strategy for succuss and self-transformation in your personal and professional life. In the words of Vince Pocente, Olympian, and NY Times best-selling author of The Earthquake: “Dr E’s latest book creates a roadmap to living an extraordinary life!”

A Formula for Success

Dr Elizabeth Lombardo’s latest book Get Out of the Red Zone is the first in a series of 3 books – The True Success series – basically a brilliant formula for overcoming difficulties and stress in order to achieve success and happiness. Working with top athletes, celebrities, and executives, she has proven to have a unique take on using psychological concepts in accessible and practical ways, to help people make BIG changes in their lives. We’re not just talking your average self-help books here, but something much more powerful. We’ll delve into to some of the science behind the formula and give you a sneaky peak into the Red Zone concept, and more importantly, some tips about how you can get out of it!

So – What Is the Red Zone?

Have you ever found yourself feeling overwhelmed without really understanding why? Snapping at your partner or the kids and feeling guilty afterwards? Or just super-anxious to the point of feeling paralyzed by it. Well, I hate to break it to you, you have fallen into the RED ZONE. The Red Zone is that point we reach when stress, life events or habits of thinking have pushed us over the edge, a switch has clicked where are emotions and irrational thinking have taken over and this is having an impact on our health, actions, and relationships. We’ve all been there in one way or another; we all have our own triggers and our own unique behaviors that we keep coming back to when we find ourselves in the Red Zone. But more importantly, we also all have the potential to overcome these self-sabotaging behaviors and the potential to be successful – it’s all about frame of mind.

Help Dr. E, I’m stuck!

What Dr. E. is helping us to do with her new book is to develop a deeper understanding of ourselves so that we know why we have got to this tipping point, what our triggers are to avoid getting there in the first place and how we can get out of this state and move forward, so that we spend less and less time in the Red Zone (yes please, I hear you cry!) and consequently move forward in our lives, achieving more as a result: emotionally, socially and professionally.

If you have seen clinical psychologist PHD., Dr Elizabeth Lombardo, on her regular slots on The Today Show and Good Morning America, you will already know that this incredible woman really knows her stuff, from her studies, her coaching and therapeutic work, and not least from her own personal life which is far from easy. There is nothing worse than a ‘guru’ telling you just to do this and that and everything will be okay, when their lives are a breeze, right?! Well Elizabeth is not like that. She has worked her way up, has a busy life with a full-time job, two daughters, a chronically ill husband, not to mention her pooch to care for. She gets it, seriously.

Red and Green Zone Thinking Explained

In the first chapter of her book, Lombardo defines passion as positive energy even in difficult times. She explains how due to what she terms an abundance of distress, we can find ourselves overwhelmed, and that this leads us to think and behave in ways that are inconsistent with who we truly are. This truly resonates. Who hasn’t said: I don’t recognize myself, that wasn’t like me at all, or I’m sorry, I’m not feeling myself…?

To stop us from the perpetual beating ourselves up, Dr E. not only reassures us that pretty much everyone goes through these times, not least herself, but provides us with a roadmap to learning to understand and take control of your Red Zone, so that instead of it destroying you, you can use it to make the positive changes you so need.

Useful questioning helps you to identify where you are and if you are approaching or have reached meltdown and strategies in terms of both mindset and behavior that can get you back to the Green Zone where you are your true self. We all want to be our true selves, our best selves, our better selves more of the time, and Dr E. has come up with a miraculous formula to help us.

Get to Know Yourself & Get Started on Your Path to Success

You don’t need to be a famous actor or athlete to benefit from Lombardo’s ground-breaking advice or break the bank on the “couch”. You too can become your very best you, much more often…and when you’re not, you can handle it! So why not give it a go? You can do it! Get out -and stay out – of the Red Zone and achieve the success you know you can. Dr. E believes in you…now you just gotta believe in yourself. Her book is out now to guide you along your way.
