I’m an LA native photographer and father. Art Center College of Design BA grad. Valley kid.
How do you define a guru? My favorite synonym for Guru would be ‘guide’. Someone who spends their time learning and sharing their knowledge freely to those looking to learn.
What does a normal work day look like for you, starting from the moment you wake up? Every day is different, and thats one of the things i love about what I do. Some days I’m working from home and i get to spend time with my family and other days I’m either on location or in the studio.
What does a normal work day look like for you, starting from the moment you wake up? I start working on my own projects once 5pm hits. NoaLim takes up all of my spare time. Making custom bags for clients, coming up with new ways to use scraps, like sewing creatures for my menagerie, (nothing goes to waste in the exotic leather industry) designing hats, gloves, leather jewelry and more. My brain isn’t happy if my hands aren’t busy.
Morning
What time do you wake up? Typically about 6:30am my kids will get me up.
What do you have for breakfast? I’ll usually grab a banana on my way out the door.
Do you work out? I do. ha ha but not as much as i should.

What time do you get to work? It just depends on the days assignment.

What do you have for Lunch? Do you even eat lunch? ha ha if I’m working i often forget to eat lunch.
Are working lunches something that works for you? Sure. I don’t mind having to eat while I work when needed.
How much time do you take for yourself during lunch? Whatever the day affords
Afternoon
How much work are you hoping to achieve in your working hours? As much as i can get through.
Do you take a break in between? I think breaks are essential to highly detailed work.
Evening
How does settling in look like for you? Coming home to my girls is everything to me. I love the warm welcome I get after being gone all day.

What does a normal wind-down look like for you?Usually its dinner with my family, getting the kids ready for bed, and then some TV with my wife. But, often the evening is the best time for me to catch up on emails and editing.
