In film, Michael B. Jordan dominated with Sinners, earning Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role and reinforcing his position as one of the defining leading men of his generation. Jessie Buckley secured the Female Actor in a Leading Role award for Hamnet, delivering a performance widely praised for its emotional precision and layered intensity. Sean Penn was honored for One Battle After Another, while Amy Madigan received recognition for Weapons, in a season marked by bold choices and commanding performances.

In comedy, The Studio emerged as a standout.
